Jeep Brand/Ativa Jefferson/Mega Agency
Harrison Ford has played many heroes, from Han Solo to Indiana Jones. And now he’s the Jeep pitchman in the two-minute spot that premiered at Super Bowl LIX.
Terry Seymour from “Extra” spoke with Harrison. Harrison recited an essay on freedom in one of the most talked about commercials of the year.
Ford said, “The energy type of a typical Super Bowl commercial is, “Hey, look at me.”
During his career, Harrison occasionally filmed commercials, but he noted that it was “rare.”
Regarding how the Jeep seduced him, Ford said, “They came up with a story that I felt comfortable saying.”
Harrison shared Screen Time with the dog, but there’s a story about his co-stars!
He commented, “Casting was everything, the first dog was a young dog, and it was too nervous and shaking!”
When Terry asked if the dog was nervous about working with Harrison, he stayed humbled and said, “Who should I work with!”
He pointed out that the dog ran away after the director came to see it.
Harrison’s life constant is his 14-year-old wife, Carista Flockhart.
Harrison already said it was “made.” [his] The Valentine’s Day plan with Calista says, “They will be executed.”
He hopes she will be impressed.
Another impressive thing… Harrison’s Marvel debut in Captain America: Brave New World!
In the film, Harrison plays President Thaddeus Ross, who becomes the Red Hulk.
Does he feel that we all have a red hulk? He replied, “I know I have a slightly red hulk, but I don’t know about you.”
