Guess which huge Biden lie CNN refused to fact-check

On May 8, President Joe Biden took the highly unusual step of answering to an interviewer who was a real journalist (not the likes of Howard Stern or Drew Barrymore). It didn’t take long for him to start ruining his own record, and Donald Trump’s.

CNN anchor Erin Burnett talks about how President Trump’s promise to create new jobs in Wisconsin has failed to materialize, saying, “Why are people here saying that you’re the one that President Trump failed to create?” Do I need to believe that I will succeed?” “He’s never succeeded in creating jobs, and I’ve never failed,” Biden boasted. “Since he became president, we’ve created more than 15 million jobs.” He did it all himself! He claimed that other than President Herbert Hoover, President Trump is “the only president to have lost more jobs than created during his four years in office.”

There’s a huge asterisk – the COVID-19 global pandemic. Trump’s employment record during his first three years in office was strong. The raw number of Americans employed has reached a new record. In October 2018, it reached over 156.6 million people. Unemployment rates hit record lows for every demographic, including women, blacks, Latinos, Asians, and young people.

Clearly, the strict lockdowns during the pandemic (promoted most aggressively by Democrats and their allies in the media) caused massive job losses. U.S. nonfarm payrolls decreased by 9.4 million jobs in 2020. So Democrats blamed it on Trump and claimed credit for the economy climbing out of the hole once the pandemic ended.

But that wasn’t Biden’s worst vice. “No president has ever done a better job of creating jobs and controlling inflation. When I took office, it was 9%. It was 9%,” he told CNN.

That’s strange! That’s a blatant lie. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the inflation rate was once again at 1.4%. Barnett did not confirm the facts during or after the interview. She urged her boyfriend to admit that inflation is bad, but she did not suggest he was lying.

FOX News contributor Joe Concha tweeted: “And of course CNN makes sure their pious fact checkers are nowhere to be found afterward.”

That would be Daniel Dale. He appears almost exclusively on television to “fact-check” President Trump. Since Trump’s Manhattan trial began in mid-April, Dale has appeared in court nine times to “interrogate” Trump. He doesn’t seem to check on anyone else. On April 18, Jake Tapper said, “It’s nice to have him at a time like this.”

Some of these fact checks are “bragging checks.” Trump will say he’s leading in every poll when he’s leading in most polls. But Dale seems most upset when President Trump blames Biden for his legal troubles. On April 18, Dale denounced the “false conspiracy theory that Joe Biden is essentially behind this incident brought by a locally elected district attorney.”

Dale can’t even reveal that Prosecutor Alvin Bragg is a Democrat. He acknowledged that Trump’s chief prosecutor, Matthew Colangelo, was a Biden Justice Department official who later joined Bragg’s team. The “conspiracy theory” among Democratic lawyers is evident here, and declaring it “false” is a lame development.

On May 7, Mr. Dale threw a flag at Mr. Trump for saying that Mr. Bragg was a “Soros-backed” prosecutor, but Mr. Trump had made no such statement in his previous broadcast. I didn’t say that. Dale turned on the spin machine by saying that Soros was a “frequent target of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories” and then claimed that the funding was indirect “at best”: Soros is a color He donated to the Of Change PAC, which subsequently supported Bragg.

If a conservative prosecutor received large sums of money from a pro-Trump PAC, CNN would not hesitate to call him a “Trump supporter.” CNN positions Dale as a spoiler, not a “fact checker.”
