German Foreign Minister Johann Wadefl said he supports President Donald Trump’s request to increase NATO members’ defensive targets to 5% of Germany’s gross domestic product.

Trump has long requested high defense costs from NATO members, some of which have not yet failed to meet their existing 2% target so far.
