Georgina Cooper, the British model remembered for her gap-toothed smile, died during a recent trip to a Greek island with her husband. She was only 46 years old.
Cooper and her husband Nigel were newlyweds. our weekly magazine They reportedly exchanged vows near their hometown in England in June.
Cooper died on the island of Kos in late October, friends and former agent Dean Goodman said. The cause was apparently complications from the long-term coronavirus.
Mr Goodman said: “Georgina was unwell due to COVID-19 and had health issues that kept her in and out of hospital. However, she had plans for the future. She had just gotten married. And she was looking forward to her life. Everyone is devastated. She was a real superstar.”
Cooper first found fame at the age of 15, when she appeared in the music video for Bon Jovi’s “Always.” She went on to appear on the cover of Vogue and worked for brands such as Stella McCartney, Burberry, and Alexander McQueen.
She quit modeling after giving birth to her son Sonny.
She is survived by her husband and son.
