Mr. Willis has remained publicly silent on the matter, and has yet to confirm or deny the allegations against him or Mr. Wade, who was involved in the indictment of Mr. Trump for election interference.

During Sunday’s speech, she did not mention Mr. Wade by name, but called him “a great friend and a great lawyer.”
President Trump’s co-defendant Michael Roman accused Willis and Wade of having an “inappropriate” and “secret” relationship during the time they were being named in the 2020 election interference case. did.
Roman, a former Trump 2020 campaign official, asked in court last week that the charges against him be dropped, arguing that the incident compromised the integrity of the case.

“Although the district attorney chose to appoint her boyfriend, the person involved in this prosecution has always been a married person,” court documents state.
According to Fulton County records, Mr. Wade has been paid about $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022, an amount the district attorney (in this case Mr. Willis) approved.
The application also asks that the entire district attorney’s office, including Willis and Wade, be disqualified from prosecuting the case.
Willis said Sunday that the prosecutors handling the case, John Floyd and Anna Green-Cross, are both white and were not targeted.
“I always think that I need someone from some jurisdiction in some other state to teach me how to do the job that I’ve been doing for almost 30 years. “Wouldn’t that be the case?” Willis asked.
Mr. Trump was indicted by Mr. Willis in August and pleaded not guilty to charges related to his alleged attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, including violating Georgia’s anti-household law.

Mr. Roman, along with Mr. Trump, was charged with extortion as part of Mr. Willis’ case and was indicted on seven felonies in August last year.
