A month after she passed away at the age of 79, the death certificate for “General Hospital” actress Leslie Charlesson was released.
With the doc obtained with TMZCharlesson’s cause of death was “the aftereffects of a dull head injury.”
Other contributing factors include asthma, arthritis, atrial fibrillation, and normal pressure hydrocephalus.
Charlesson went through a series of waterfalls and was hospitalized at the time of his death.
Her death was announced at the official “general hospital” by her colleague Frank Valentini. Instagram account. “It is a heavy heart to announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague Leslie Charlson,” he writes. “Her lasting legacy spans nearly 50 years at the ‘General Hospital’ alone. Just as Monica was the centre of Quartermain, Leslie was the beloved patriarch of the cast and the entire crew. You miss our daily chat, her quick wit, and her incredible presence on set. On behalf of everyone at the “general hospital,” my sincere sympathy is passed on to her loved ones during this difficult time. ”
Charlesson joined “General Hospital” in 1977, replacing Patsy Larn with Monica, appearing in over 2,000 episodes and becoming the centerpiece of the iconic series. She was also seen in the spinoff “Port Charles” (1997-2001).
