‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Garcelle Beauvais gets real busy — This summer!
“Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi spoke with Garcelle about her new Lifetime movie “Terry McMillan Presents: Love Is Seduction” and what’s next for “RHOBH.”
The single mother of three is currently filming season 14 and is thoroughly enjoying the drama of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
She said: “A lot of the women are going through really big changes in their lives and of course that’s impacting how they interact with us and with the group. It’s going to be fun. Some of them have had changes in their friendships. It’s going to be really good. I’m optimistic about this season.”
Regarding his split from Dorit Kemsley, Beauvais said, “We just finished filming so of course we’ve kept in contact. It’s hard. I’ve been through a divorce with young children. It’s not fun. I hope that he can put his children first.”
Will Garcelle date this season?
She replied: “I would be happy to do that. When the time comes… I’ve been so busy so if someone was in my life I think they would have felt a bit bad that I wasn’t there for them. But I would absolutely do it. Once things have settled down, I’ll go out. I’m not going to go on Bumble like Sutton did, but I’m going to find my own way.”
Beauvais finds romance in “Terry McMillan Presents: Seduction,” in which her character, Ava, falls in love with a man 20 years her junior.
When asked if she would ever date a man younger than her, Garcelle replied, “I’m not looking for a guy 20 years younger than me, but if I find someone who’s the right fit and we’re compatible, I’d consider it.”
She emphasized, “Age is just a number. What’s important is finding someone who fits your life, your journey, and where you are. I think that’s so important.”
Still, the 57-year-old admitted she wouldn’t date someone in their 30s because she has a 32-year-old son. “I’m still raising my boy. I don’t need another one,” she joked.
“Tempted by Love” will premiere on Lifetime on August 17th.
