Fusion Entertainment has signed actress Bria Vinate, who gained attention for her role as a woman living in financial poverty in director Sean Baker’s “The Florida Project.”
The Lithuanian-born actress was discovered by director Baker while working in the fashion industry and cast in the lead role of a struggling single mother raising her daughter in a motel. For her performance, Vinate was nominated for multiple awards from critics organizations such as the Chicago Film Critics Association and the San Diego Film Critics Association.
Since “The Florida Project” debuted in 2017, Vinaite has appeared in TV series such as “The OA” and films such as “Balance Not Symmetry” and “Lost in Transmission.” . Next year, she will star in Icelandic director Anton Sigurdsson’s latest film, Pandemonium. The film follows a group of wealthy New Yorkers trapped in a wellness retreat run by a nefarious guru. The movie will be shot in New Jersey in early 2024.
Vinate is also a writer, artist, and creator, and has multiple projects in development, including an animated television series and a fiction series based on her teenage years at boarding school.
