Lo di Brezzo, affectionately known to his former students and colleagues as Doctor D.
As a testament to the influence of a respected educator, former students and colleagues of Lo di Brezzo, affectionately known as “Doctor D”, have united to: scholarship for her honor.
“Dr. D has been described as a great leader, teacher and influential friend,” said Development Director Tory Guddy. College of Education and Health Professionals. “Throughout her illustrious career, she left an indelible mark on countless others.”
Gadi said her deep appreciation and admiration for Dr. D inspired her former students and colleagues to start this activity. Di Brezzo Exercise Science Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship supports undergraduate students who have earned at least 60 credit hours and are pursuing a degree in the Exercise Science program at the University of California.

Di Brezzo joined the Australian University in 1983 as an Assistant Professor in Physical Education and retired on 30 June 2020. During his tenure, Dibrezzo served as Program Chair and Interim Chair of the Kinesiology Department, Director of the Human Performance Institute, and Director of the Human Performance Institute. He is the co-director of the aging laboratory. In 1992, she co-founded the Faculty Support Center. From 2012 to 2013 she served as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and from 2013 to 2017 she was the University’s first Vice Chancellor responsible for faculty development and strengthening. In 2017, Mr. Di Brezzo became the first Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. In October 2019, she returned to her department as a university professor of exercise science. She has received multiple awards from the College of Education and Health Professionals, A University, for her research and teaching.
Dean of Education and Health Professionals Kate Mamiseisvili said the scholarship is a lasting tribute to Di Brezzo’s achievements. “The Dibrezzo Endowed Scholarship in Exercise Science provides an opportunity for individuals to honor the profound influence of educators while helping future generations of students in exercise science programs achieve their academic goals. ” she said.
