The Georgia activist drew attention when he was introduced by former President Trump at a rally in Atlanta on Saturday.
At the end of his speech at the Georgia State University Conference Center, President Trump invited Michaela Montgomery onto the stage, where he explained that he met her at a restaurant earlier this year.
Trump said Montgomery, a Clark Atlanta University graduate, had publicly acknowledged Trump and praised his funding for historically black colleges and universities.
“She looked at me and said, ‘President Trump, you saved my college.’ And I said, ‘How do you know that?’ … This guy is very smart, very intelligent,” Trump recalled.

“She grabbed me and kissed me,” he added. “I said, ‘I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to being the first lady.'”
“I should have kept that quiet,” Montgomery laughed.
The former president praised Montgomery, calling her an “incredible” person with a “great future,” and telling her he would “do whatever I can to help you” before giving her the podium.
“I want to add a little bit to what others have said,” the conservative activist began, “and we need to do our best to spread the message. The fight is meaningless if we only talk among ourselves.”
Montgomery added that he is the founder of a group called the Cultural Preservation Society, which “mobilizes HBCU students to help them understand this culture.” [conservative] message.”

“Nobody needs this message more than my family, so do you guys really care,” Montgomery said to the cheering crowd. “Are you guys really on our side?
“Give it back to Big T.”
The rally came days after President Trump was criticized by the White House for comments he made about Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity at the recent National Association of Black Journalists conference.
“She’s always just been Indian and promoted as being Indian,” Trump said. “I didn’t know she was black until a few years ago, when she became black. And now she wants to be known as black. So, I don’t know if she’s Indian or black.”

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson praised Trump on Wednesday for “answering the tough questions” during the meeting.
“Today I commend my friend @realdonaldtrump for braving the hostile environment at @NABJ and answering the tough questions,” Carson said in a post on X.
