Comey is researching an Instagram post showing shells lined up on the beach to read “86 47.”
“A cool shell formation on my beach walk,” he wrote in a deleted post since. Some interpreted the post as meaning “86.”

The US Secret Service is leading the investigation at this point, but Fox News said the FBI and the Department of Justice could play a bigger role if necessary.
