Former “The Bachelorette” star Katie Thurston told her fans on Saturday that she has cancer and that she is ready to fight it.

Driving into her mental state, Katie said, “I have experienced a variety of emotions over the past two weeks. Despair. Anger. Sadness. Denial. And powerful. Ready. I cried a lot. I couldn’t do this instead of this post.”
“But one thing I did early on was searching for other stories like me. Other young women with breast cancer. Invasive ductal cancer. Mastectomy. After breast cancer. Their story helped all. It was the first day of sharing and this first step in accepting my reality was the most difficult.”

Bold and heart-warmingly, she declared, “But I am ready to fight this.”
Katie praised her fiancé and closed her, “I don’t know how I’ll do this without you. This life and the maxim of the next life.
Her comment section was quickly filled with words of love and support, including Bachelor’s Degrees, Jasmine Goode and Justin Glaze.
Katie appeared on “The Bachelor” in 2020 and was later named Bachelorette in 2022. When the show ended, she married Blake Moyses, but they split up and dated John Hershey.
