Yo Egg’s retail plans will start with “independent businesses in the wholesome, natural foods category,” he told AgFunderNews. “They then target local businesses like Bristol Farms before going after accounts like Sprouts and Whole Foods.”

The company was developed by Groner’s. Fellow co-founder and Israeli chef Yosefah Ben Cohen planned it as a home project using her kitchen.
Wanting to offer consumers a ‘whole egg’ experience, Yo Egg is known for its runny yolk, as its name suggests, despite being completely vegan.
