“Wicked” star Ethan Slater is a good fit for the 2025 Critics’ Choice Award!
“Extra,” Melvin Robert spoke with Ethan. Ethan told the headline that there could be a big “evil” musical performance to open the Oscar.
Ethan said, “I’m reading those headlines too… I don’t know… that’s great, I really hope!”
When asked if he wanted to join numbers with his girlfriends Ariana Grande and Cynthia Eribo, Slater replied. are you kidding me Mostly I just want to see it. They’re crazy to sing live. ”
Ethan pointed out that the two stars “really can sing!” With their unique and powerful voices, “When they sing together, they have the same frequency in some way, very different, but very singular.”
Slater also shared how Ariana and Cynthia were the same and off on screen. He said, “They really support each other… Supporting the love you see between them, I was radiated on the set they looked after each other, they looked after everyone I think so.”
As for the second film, Ethan said he hasn’t seen much of it yet, but he said, “I remember remembering filming. I can’t wait for this.
He joked, looking for the film’s director, John M. Chew. “I was trying to see it too. Where is John? Let’s take him here. I want to see it.”
Ethan praised John, calling him a “glorious artist” and a “really good guy.” He commented, “John makes everyone feel safe, everyone from the crew to the cast… to do the best job and try things out.”
