There’s plenty of entertainment on the Northern Olympic Peninsula this weekend.

Each art walk has a color theme. The theme colors for June’s First Friday Art Walk are white and across the visible spectrum.
• “Otaku” will run from tonight until June 18th at the Olympic Theater Arts.
Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm at the theater at 41 N. Sequim Ave. Cost is $20 per ticket, $15 for students. Tickets are available at olympictheatrearts.org.
The two-act, seven-character play revolves around Willam Covert, an aspiring architect living in Terre Haute, Indiana, whom he has never met, but who was seriously injured and saved his life in Vietnam. A former GI friend who gave me a visit. . Willam is overjoyed when Rick Steadman unexpectedly shows up at his apartment, but Steadman’s awkwardness and inappropriate behavior throw things into chaos.
• “Nifty Fifties” Performed tonight and Saturday by drama classes at the Olympic Peninsula Academy.
This musical comedy will run in the Sequim High School Auditorium at 533 N. Sequim Ave. for three performances tonight at 7:00 PM and Saturdays at 1:30 PM and 7:00 PM.
The play is free, but the school is asking for a suggested donation of $5 to fund future drama productions.
• Buzz Rogowski Playing tonight from 5pm to 7pm at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn at 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• Rainshadow Chorale Two performances of the spring concert “The Seal Lullaby” will be shown this weekend.
Performances will take place Saturday at 7pm at Lutheran Church of the Savior at 45 Redeemer Way, Chimacum and at 3pm on Sunday at First Presbyterian Church at 1111 Franklin Street, Port Townsend.
Tickets for performances can be purchased at the entrance. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students is recommended.
Artistic director Laurie de Leon promises an evening that combines classical works with new composers. For example, the choir sings two of his arrangements of “Sure on this Shining Night” that open and close the concert.

• Bonsai show More than 70 trees of various types and sizes will be on display at the Pioneer Memorial Park Clubhouse at 387 E. Washington St. Saturday from 10am to 5pm .
Members of the Dungeness Bonsai Society have developed a hobby over the years. The culmination can be seen in this 45th annual free show.

• Island Paradise Flower Show Hosted by the Nordland Garden Club on Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm.
The public is invited to a free show at the clubhouse at 320 Garden Club Road.
Garden Club judges will evaluate entries in horticulture, floral design, botanical art and photography.
Visitors can vote for People’s Choice Awards for both horticulture and design.
• Chimakam Farmers Market celebrates the start of its 15th season on Sunday.
Open 10am-2pm on the lawn at Chimacum Corner Farmstand at 9122 Rhody Drive.
There will be an opening ceremony with twine cutting, children’s activities, live music and stalls.
• “The food we eat”It will be announced by the Climate Action Team of the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Sunday at 12:15 pm.
This free public forum is part of a monthly series held at the Fellowship Hall at 1033 N. Barr Road.
Sunday’s forum will discuss local organic food sources and show a short video on the impact of factory-farmed meat on climate change.
The presentation will last from 45 minutes to an hour and will include time for Q&A.
