“Ashi Franke: Linda Blaine Flake Endowed Arts Scholarship Exhibition” Photography, ceramics, paintings, illustrations and graphic design documenting Franke’s 10 years as a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will be on display Monday at the Ann Manners and Alex Pappas Gallery in UALR’s Windgate Arts and Design Center. It will be exhibited. , 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock. The exhibition will run until June 9th, with a reception held at the Windgate Center on June 6th from 5pm to 7pm.
A 2023-24 recipient of the Linda Blaine Flake Endowed Scholarship, Franke enrolled as a student in 2014 and is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and three minors in Art History, Digital Graphics, and Studio Art. I graduated this spring with a degree. – Technical Certificate in Graphic Design.

Filmmaker Mark Pedri recounts his grandfather, Sergeant John Pedri,’s journey of discovery on a mission. Silvio J. Pedri was instrumental in helping his division retake the French town of Metz from German forces during World War II. This is part of the museum’s “MacArthur Films” series. The Walton Arts Center is the first regional high school theater awards program in Arkansas. 2024-25 Diamond Award. The award is modeled after Broadway’s Tony Awards and “recognizes achievement and excellence in musical theater by local high school students,” according to a news release.
Industry experts will judge student performances in High School Musical, and awards will be presented in several individual and ensemble categories at a ceremony in May 2025. Winners of Best Actress and Best Actor will be eligible to compete in the Broadway League Foundation’s National High School Musical Theater Awards, known as the Jimmy Awards, in New York. The cost will be borne by the center.
