She explains that her previous employer sent her a package with 48 hours to return the equipment, but the box provided did not fit the monitor.
“I tried different ways to get a stupid monitor in here, but the box is square and the monitor is rectangular,” she says in the video.
Leslie adds: She then ends the video by jokingly threatening to “throw her hands up”.
The video quickly went viral, with many viewers visiting the comments section to offer advice on how to return the monitor to the company.
“Convert square boxes to rectangles,” said one commenter.
“There is nothing they can do. Send it when you send it,” said the second commenter.
“They didn’t say working conditions,” a third jokingly said.
Many other commenters suggested that Leslie put the monitor in the box at an angle. This triggered a response from Leslie. Posted March 13th, Follow up TikTokshe explained that she had already tried all the recommendations, demonstrating that the monitor wouldn’t fit in the box.
“Why would I bother breaking the box and sending this back to them if they made me miserable in the first place?” Leslie asked in the video. “I literally quit this job for a reason. I’m not going to go out of my way to make this crazy box and monitor work.”
Despite her frustration, Leslie confirmed that her former employer would send her a new box.
