Instagram Threads has reached a milestone of 130 million monthly active users, a significant increase of 30 million from the previous quarter. During the company’s fourth quarter earnings call, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Threads is experiencing steady growth.

Zuckerberg highlighted that Threads currently has a higher number of active users than at its peak when it was first released, indicating it has the potential to be a huge success. The statement was made during discussions with analysts.
Threads got off to an unusual start, gaining 100 million registered users in just five days after launching in July. However, over time, the initial interest in the platform gradually waned.
In the fourth quarter, Meta’s suite of apps, which includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp, reached a staggering 3.19 billion daily users, up from 3.14 billion in previous years. I surpassed people.
As of December 31, 2023, the number of monthly active users within the Meta family reached an impressive 3.98 billion, reflecting impressive year-over-year growth of 6%.

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said this update was made in direct response to the valuable input we received from the Instagram community. Additionally, through the Threads feature, users are also given the option to disable the ability to automatically share their posts across various platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
