On Thursday, professional dancer Artyom Chigvintsev from “Dancing with the Stars” was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic violence.
According to court records, Chigvintsev is currently being held in the Napa County Jail with bail set at $25,000. He was charged with Penal Code 273.5(a), Bodily Injury to a Spouse.
A spokesman for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office said: TMZ Police reported a domestic violence call this morning in Yountville, California.
Officials noted that victims whose injuries were reported requested complete confidentiality.
It’s unclear whether the charges relate to his wife, Nikki Garcia, who posted a photo of herself getting a facial in Napa Valley on Wednesday.
The couple just celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
