Earlier this week, Dubai launched the world’s first 5.5G villas equipped with advanced wireless technology. The latest technological advancement, created by a collaboration between Chinese technology company Huawei and the United Arab Emirates’ second-largest telecommunications operator, leverages Huawei’s 5G-Advanced fixed wireless access technology to enable individuals to Video, 8K UHD Streaming, XR Gaming, Khaleej Times reports.

This achievement was made possible by du’s 5.5G Experience Carrier, which gives subscribers access to instantaneous peak speeds of 10Gbps.
5G-Advanced technology serves as an important link between 5G and 6G technologies and provides new capabilities. This facilitates various forms of intelligent connectivity, enabling seamless communication for individuals traveling at high speeds, such as people on trains or planes. 5G can be easily integrated with emerging technologies such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain to enable new applications and services.
Additionally, it effectively supports immersive and interactive applications that are expected to be widely used in entertainment, training, and education.
