In the new documentary series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” Drake Bell alleges that Brian Peck, a convicted sex offender and former Nickelodeon dialogue coach, exposed him to sex when he was a minor. He revealed that he had been sexually abused.
After the entire docuseries aired, Bell’s “Drake & Josh” co-star Josh Peck received significant backlash for his silence.
However, Drake has now come clean about his relationship with Josh, who is not related to Brian Peck.
Drake said in the TikTok video. I noticed that Josh has a lot of comments on his TikToks and some of his posts. I just want to let you all know that this is really an emotional time to process this situation and go through this, and a lot of things are very, very difficult. Therefore, not everything is available to the public. ”

“But what I want you all to know is that he reached out to me and it’s very sensitive,” Drake continued. “But he reached out to talk to me and help me get through this. And it was really, really great. So I just wanted everyone to know that and make it a little bit easier. It is.”
During an appearance on the BFFs podcast in 2022, Josh revealed that he and Drake are no longer “real” friends.
In 2017, Drake revealed on Twitter that he wasn’t invited to Josh’s wedding.
In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote: “When you’re not invited to a wedding, the message is clear… Loyalty matters. Always remember where you come from.”

In another tweet, Bell seemed to have ended his friendship with Peck, writing, “Today, our true colors were revealed. The message is loud and clear. We are officially done. We miss you. ” he wrote.
Josh reflected on the tweet, writing, “The internet went crazy because I didn’t invite him to the wedding…I’m marrying my wife…so we had a little wedding like this , and a dirty little secret, I guess, I knew Drake but we didn’t keep in touch for like 10 years after we made the show, but no one needs to know that. I was so happy to die with that secret…I hadn’t really talked to him in years.”
Peck revealed that he received a text message from Bell on their wedding night.
Josh said his wife is “devastated” by Drake’s tweet.
When they met at the Video Music Awards, Josh told Drake, “Go apologize to your wife right now.”
At the time, this was “almost” the last communication between the former child actors.
