When he visited Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, US President Donald Trump was introduced to four UAE astronauts. A video of him interacting with Haza al-Mansoli, the first Emirati in the universe, and Sultan al-Nayadi, the Arabs, who are taking their first space stroll, has surfaced online.
The viral video also shows Trump interacting with Nora al Mathrusi, the first Arab woman to graduate from NASA’s astronaut program, and with 2024 graduate Mohammed al Mura.

At Qasr Al Watan, Trump was honored with the United Arab Emirates’ highest civilian ornament, the Order of Zayed. The award was given to him by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan. The award is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, a father of the United Arab Emirates. Previously, it was given to world leaders such as Queen Elizabeth II, Chancellor Angela Merkel, and President Xi Jinping.

At the awards ceremony, Trump garnered praise for the UAE president, saying, “You and I have been friends for a long time. We’re good… friends, and what they don’t know about you is that you are truly considered a great warrior. And you went through war.”
He added, “A very strong, brilliant man, a visionary man. There’s no doubt that the relationship will become bigger and better.”
