SAN ANTONIO — A South Side man in his 60s was shot in the back during an argument over money early Monday morning, police said.
san antonio police Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 12:50 a.m. in the 100 block of W. Young Avenue near S. Flores Street.
When officers arrived, they found a victim in his 60s who had been shot in the hip, with the bullet penetrating his abdomen. He was taken to the hospital, where his condition is stable.
The victim told police he was visiting a friend at a home on the south side of Yonge Avenue and was out front when an acquaintance arrived in a black car. They began arguing over money and the suspect in a black car fired several shots, hitting the victim in the back.
The suspect then fled in a vehicle before police arrived. No other details were provided by police.
The crime scene is still under investigation
