Dinalpan spent a “emotional” night watching Grant Ellis again in “Women Say Everything.”
“Extra” spoke to Dina, who was sent home after a date in her hometown — her family opted out — she recalls that it was a “make-or-break” that ultimately broke them.
She said, “I didn’t think I was emotional. I wanted to tell him… [the] I saw my family being there and looking back at the episode and moving away from “My family wouldn’t be here, but my friends would,” he asked how I felt about it and I avoided the question again. ”
She continued. “I barely talked about it, and when I saw it, I saw in his confession that “it could be a makeup or break situation, Dina’s family didn’t buy it.” He never told me it would be a makeup or break situation. He didn’t make it feel like it was a big deal. ”
Lupin continues, “I was like a self-reflecting, ‘What did you do to make him feel like he didn’t say it to me?” I clearly didn’t give him a safe space… so I could tell it to me, I felt really bad. ”
Regarding their reunion, Dina noted: “It was something I wanted to call out to him tonight. I got emotional and ‘I felt sick.’
Lupin pointed out that she got emotional as she faced it head-on, despite her uncomfortable doing it.
Dina understands why she was sent home and says, “It wasn’t my family was gone, it was broken. In the end, he couldn’t see them, so it was a break. My family couldn’t see him, so how can you proceed with the engagement in two weeks when you don’t have that family meeting?”
Lupin opened with a “special connection” with Grant, saying, “it was a little more unique. I think we were someone who trusted each other very quickly. I know he saw it in me. I didn’t feel that Grant had given me. For example, no verification was necessary from him. Every time we met each other, it was exactly like that.”
Dina felt that she was “really far away” because she didn’t need constant verification of the relationship. She added, “it was much stronger than what we really saw on the show.”
Dina also talked about how she wanted to get things done with Carolina in the “WTA,” but she felt that Carolina was not accountable.
She said, “I wanted to keep it cute. I wanted it to be an open forum where she wanted to say exactly how she felt and apologize for my flaws… I wanted it to be that tonight. And instead of being able to take accountability for what she did, she was like throwing a jab at everyone else… I don’t think we really got things done.”
For those she hopes Grant is over, Dina admitted it was a difficult choice!
She said, “When I got home after my hometown, I told him, ‘You’re going to have a really tough time.’ These women are amazing and they are so incredible. They all bring different, incredible qualities to the table…
Dina said, “I’m not Grant so I can’t say anything that fits him perfectly… I mean, I love Lithia. She’s my girl so it’s very difficult to say anyone other than Lithia.
When asked if she could see Dina on the beach for “Bachelor of Paradise,” she left the door open.
“The Bachelor” will air on ABC on Monday.
