On Thursday, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney Mark Agnifilo offered a glimpse into the rap mogul’s life in prison.
“I think the food is probably the worst part,” Agnifilo told reporters outside the New York courthouse after the court hearing.
Despite the situation, Diddy’s other attorney, Anthony L. Rico, said Diddy is “making adjustments.”
Ricco emphasized: No one will allow anyone to stay in prison. ”
Diddy has been in jail since mid-September awaiting trial after pleading not guilty to charges of extortion, conspiracy, sex trafficking and prostitution transportation.
Earlier today, Judge Arun Subramanian did not issue the rapper’s bail request before him, and Combs remains jailed.
A judge ruled that the rapper will remain in custody for the duration of the trial, which is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
During the hearing, prosecutors also revealed that the investigation is ongoing and that additional charges may be filed.
Prosecutor Emily Johnson estimated the government’s case would last about three weeks, and defense attorney Mark Agnifilo said Combs’ case would last about a week, the Associated Press reported.
Didi appeared at the hearing with her mother and children Justin, Christian, Quincy, Chance, Delilah and Jesse.
