Guests will receive this special pin identifying themselves as passengers of the Halcyon Starcruiser.
No pins are required to board a vehicle or return to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. These are completed using a MagicBand or phone, but they make nice souvenirs. Apparently some guests lost their pins and asked for a replacement. So before guests leave Halcyon, Cast Members are giving additional briefings about the pins. Given the high cost of replacements, I was surprised that replacements were absolutely off-limits.
Cast members warned Christmas cruise guests that wearing pins with the cardboard backing on them increases the chances of them falling off. Helps you find your Pins. This seems to take a lot more time and effort than simply exchanging free pins.
The briefing also added a few minutes to travel time from Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
