Democrats continue to respond to President Donald Trump’s chaotic rules with pointless, persistent, astounding memes, with many left-leaning Americans expressing their despair for the country’s future.

This week, the situation reached fever pitch and the party released a video showing members enacting “.Choose a fighter“Meme mimics the movement of the video game character menu set in music for popular titles Super Smash Bros. Close to the area.
The footage, which includes politicians such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.), Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), and Lauren Underwood (D-Ill.), was ridiculed by right-wing users of X.
“These are actually real live-sitting members of Congress,” said account Breaking911 along with the clown emoji.
But the most important response comes from liberals, considering the unprecedented first weeks of Trump’s second term, shocked to see such an exhibition by Democrats, highlighting the sitting delegates “having been taken away from their sleep”, “not the morning person”, and “spray”.
“We try our best not to sound like a Republican RN,” one user said on X.
“This was a tiktok trend like it was three years ago. It’s sad,” another said.
others Discussed The video proved how “cooked” the country is, but some expressed confusion over Ocasio-Cortez’s involvement.
“AOC is online enough to know this is floping,” the commenter said. “I was very surprised that she had placed herself in the fire line.”
“AOCs are usually very good and normal people about this,” the second user wrote. “Shall she talk to others now?”
Many also pointed to previous examples of what Democrats saw as not standing up to Trump. In the president’s speech to Congress this week, Democrats hugged signs, including signs that they said “this is not normal” in order to protest the administration. This effort was primarily seen as a display of meaningless performance.
“They want to play on social media rather than doing something meaningful or constructive,” another upset liberal wrote.
There was also a coordinated video release where all Democrats said “shit” to Trump on a big show that was disapproved.
“These are my ‘fighter’ fellow fascism. It’s GunnaWinBro,” another joked.
Despite the increasingly happening online pushbacks from their bases for Democrats, it remains unclear whether the party will take non-mem steps to curb Trump’s worst behavior.
