Whether you like it or hate it, material ‘ has become one of the most talked about movies of the year.
body horror comedy (it teeth Funny, after all) has been trending on social media since its release this fall — and demi moore‘s performance as Elizabeth Sparkle also garnered some serious awards buzz.
There’s a good reason for that. Demi’s performance in the movie Radical. She pushes it to the limit, which includes a nude scene in the first third of the film.
in a recent interview ElleDemi seriously talked about how the nude scene was filmed, including a low-angle shot of her back included in the sequence itself.
“It’s like, hmmm. That bothers me,” she commented, before saying she didn’t ask for the shot to be adjusted “because I knew it would serve something more important than me.”
“I felt that if I could be a part of moving the conversation forward, all the challenges and exposing my insecurities were worth it.”
Demi also elaborated on why she pushed herself to the limit for this role, and how her weaknesses became freer in the process.
“There was an incredibly liberating aspect to stepping into this really vulnerable, emotionally and physically exposed place,” she explained.
“This movie gave me an opportunity to look at where my ego was running the show, where I was giving up my power. I am now able to accept myself.”
