The Bucs began their practice week on Wednesday, with cornerback Carlton Davis III returning to practice as the team prepares for this weekend’s matchup with the 49ers.
Davis previously missed all of last week’s practices and games. He’s still trying to recover from a rough performance from two weeks ago, and the 49ers are a tough opponent to get back into action against.
Getting Davis was good news, but Tampa Bay was missing a number of starters. Inside linebacker Devin White and right tackle Luke Goedeke were out with foot injuries.
White played against the Titans on Sunday, but missed play due to a foot issue. Safety Ryan Neal (thumb) also did not participate.
Wide receiver Mike Evans has been limited in practice due to a quadriceps injury, but there are no concerns about his condition. Game availability.
