“It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring” was once just a nursery rhyme. Today, as President Biden limps toward the end of his term as our only illegitimate president, the frightening reality of our lack of leadership in the White House is becoming reality.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Biden will finally visit the sites of devastation caused by Hurricane Helen in North Carolina, even if he has to skip a nap or two. This comes amid real concerns that the federal government’s response has been lackluster and inadequate.
Furthermore, war continues in the Middle East, and on Tuesday, October 1st, Iran launched the largest ballistic missile attack in human history against Israel. This is despite the fact that, on several occasions, Biden appeared semi-convincing, sternly warning the mullahs to “fuck off.”

Well, they did anyway. And thankfully, thanks to the military power of Israel and the United States, the Iranian onslaught, while as devastating as a Nerf shootout, was still just a slap in the face to a reckless president.
As if those two disasters weren’t enough, this week the International Longshoremen’s Association also went on strike from Maine to Texas, and despite Biden’s insistence that a deal would be struck, the International Longshoremen’s Association also went on strike from batteries to bananas. They cut off the supply lines for everything. .
Of all these crises, the latter may be the most devastating to Scranton Joe. Because if Biden was in his prime, he would have been able to finish it off faster than Swiffer.
There are few people in my lifetime who have the deep and long-standing relationships and trust with organized labor that Biden has cultivated over the past 50 years. Once upon a time, he was just the right person for the job. Today he is simply absent.
This is why chairing by committee does not work. Coastal residents may have trusted Biden. They don’t trust the faceless deep state blobs that control us today.
Americans know that we do not currently have a functioning president, and that we have had one for some time. In August, San Francisco restaurateur Sam told me, “I don’t know who runs this country, but it’s not him.” In Virginia, Democrat Sara said only, “Sadly, he’s gone.”
Frankly, this situation is extremely dangerous. When Iran tried to start World War III, we heard almost nothing from the president. Instead, we saw at the White House podium the figure of National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, the very man whose incompetence helped spark this conflagration.
Remember Sullivan? He was the man who said days before Hamas’s brutal attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, that the Middle East was quieter than it had been in 20 years.
Amazingly, Sullivan, who should not even be in charge of the Dairy Queen, let alone US foreign policy, is still working. And why? Because he doesn’t have a boss. No one in government would do that. I don’t think Biden would be able to recognize Jake Sullivan, much less fire him.
It really is a terrible mess that the Democrats have gotten us into. The president is incapable of carrying out his duties and the vice president is currently running for president. And by running, I mean running as far away from Grandpa Joe as possible.

In a sane world, our aging commander-in-chief would step down and be replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris. But that can’t happen. Because if that happens, she’ll suddenly be responsible for global and domestic turmoil, and she might actually have to do a full-fledged interview or two.
No matter how you look at it, the United States doesn’t have a president. However, what we are facing is a national and international crisis-level situation that has not been adequately addressed.
Our nation’s ship will be without a captain for another four months until either former President Trump or Kamala Harris takes office next year. Also, since there is no rudder, the risk of capsizing is very high.
Joe Biden fell asleep, is in the wrong head and doesn’t start work until 10am. Our allies know that. What’s worse, our enemies know it, and as always, it’s the American people who are suffering.
In a normal world, Joe Biden would have resigned by now and been free to lie on a Delaware beach all day, but he does it anyway. But these are not normal times, and until January 20th, all we can do is shut up and hope for the best.
