Cynthia Eribo was “bad” stunning on the red carpet at the 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards.
“Extra”‘s Melvin Robert spoke with the “evil” star who could potentially sing with her Oscar co-star Ariana Grande.
There was a chatter about Cynthia and Ali being able to open up Oscars with musical performances, but the Oscar candidate said they didn’t know anything. She commented. “That’s a great idea! If that happens, it’s great!”
Cynthia also confirmed that she and Ariana have never auditioned for the film together, saying, “We didn’t test the cameras, we didn’t test them. We already had roles. We met each other when we did.”
Cynthia and Ariana actually sang together for the first time at a dinner with directors John M. Chew and Stephen Schwartz.
She said, “It was the first time we’ve sang and it worked! [Ariana Grande] Our vibratos say they hold hands…it’s magical. ”
After the Critics’ Choice Award, Eribo is heading to New Orleans for Super Bowl Lix.
Who is she rooting for? Cynthia replied, “Kendrick Lamar!”
Last week, Erivo gave a beautiful tribute to the late Quincy Jones at the Grammy Awards.
She said, “I had a really good time – I felt a really good song. I was included and I’m so happy they asked me to do it. It was such an honor to sing for Quincy like that.
“He’s going to be overlooked. He was a great person,” she continued. “I’m happy to see him many times and I’m happy to celebrate him like that.”
