A woman spotted Walgreens’ generic brand label on a viral TikTok under the on-brand label for a nasal spray.
In a 15-second clip, TikTok user Kyrstyn (@.kyrstyn) reveals to his followers how Walgreens rebranded.
“For those who want proof that we just rebranded the store, look at this,” she says. She then takes out a nasal spray, pushes down the package, and peels off the plastic label, revealing another label beneath it.
“Don’t worry, I’m sick. Just buy store brands anyway, same thing,” she captioned the video.

Others shared their experiences working for companies that rebrand off-brand products.
“My husband and I worked in a cheese factory. They literally put the same cheese in different company packaging,” one person shared.
“When I was working with ritual aid, a customer brought out a bottle of name brand olive oil and pointed out that when you peel the label off it has the dg label underneath,” the second commented.
“I did this for the candle because the flagship Walmart candle stripped the label and put the cheap dollar tree logo where I worked years ago,” said a third person. is writing
