On a now-viral TikTok, a Cold Stone Creamery employee said he took a customer’s cake order for the next day just before closing for the day, dividing the audience in the comments section.
TikTok user @coldstonetreats posted this video on April 1st. As of April 4th, the video has surpassed his 2.2 million views.
In the clip, the employee says that a customer came five minutes before closing to order the next morning’s cake. He says he has to wake up at 4am.

In the comments section, viewers debated whether or not they should receive orders.
“You guys are so nice. I won’t take that order!” wrote one user.
“It’s okay to say no,” said another.
“Oh my god, a paying customer during business hours,” quipped a third.
Others criticized customers for causing inconvenience to workers by delaying orders.
“Some people are very uncaring,” said one commentator.
“They all day…” wrote another.
