Former President Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen said his former boss “should be worried” about prosecutors, witnesses and evidence that will arrive after the judge sets a start date for the hush money trial.

The judge in Trump’s hush-money lawsuit held a hearing Monday as Trump’s lawyers battled the state over new documents filed in the case. The trial was scheduled to begin on Monday but was postponed after the documents were revealed.
The judge ultimately decided not to delay the trial any further and set a new start date for April 15th.
Despite President Trump’s objections, Cohen is scheduled to testify in the case along with adult film star Stormy Daniels. Daniels said she received hush money from Cohen to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump. In a recent documentary, Daniels said he only accepted the money because his life was in danger.
Mr. Cohen did not say what he planned to say during his testimony, but on Monday he expressed dissatisfaction with the new documents.
He said the Trump campaign is attacking his credibility and “trying to come up with a way to smear my reputation again for the sole purpose of further delaying this trial or getting it off the schedule altogether.” Stated. , that’s wishful thinking. ”
