“Cobra Kai” will return for part 2 of its sixth and final season. “Extras” got the scoop from stars Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Xolo Maridueña and Gianni DeCenso.
They decided to go to Barcelona for the second division.
Mary recalled filming all day and partying at night. “We definitely worked hard. We put in as much time as we could for our group,” she said, adding that they watched a soccer game, “which was really fun.” said.
Tanner praised how “absolutely insane” the karate and fighting in Part 2 was, and praised the stunt team for training them to do most of the action themselves.
Buchanan continued, “This is all thanks to the stunt team, all the stunt doubles, all the leaders… none of it would have been possible without them. Everything we’ve done is next level.”
He added, “There’s no other show where actors fight other actors,” and explained that the stars did “most” of their own stunts.
The star praised the stunt team for training them, saying, “It’s all thanks to them.”
Gianni DeCenso added: “They’re raising the bar every season…I can’t spoil it, but there are some pretty big battles with quite a few people.”
Peyton also teased the “complicated” relationships that the characters’ lives will throw at them, completely changing their circumstances.
“All relationships are so complicated, and friendships are so complicated,” she said. “Everything starts off so well…then sometimes life throws itself at you, it throws itself at these characters, and it changes everything. Throughout the season, very few things happen that change the lives or trajectories of the characters. .”
Plus, they leaked into a wild group chat, with List saying, “We have a photo circle and we just send out the weirdest shit you could find on set or in life.” I did.
Mouser added that it “turned out to be the weirdest thing imaginable.”
Some sweet moments were also shared, as she explained. There were many long days like that. ”
“Extra” also spoke with Ralph Macchio, William Zakuba, and Yuji Okumoto in separate interviews.
Looking back on the three-part final season, William said: The character is fully rounded. ”
Ralph said the writers are creating an ending that “fans want to see,” adding, “I think we’ll hit on all cylinders… we’re going to go right, we’re going to take a left, we’re going to make a U-turn.” Fans, please “buckle up.”
Macchio said Danny has been doing a lot of self-exploration and is coming to understand elements of Miyagi’s life that he never shared with him. William said that therefore the burden falls on Johnny to get the kids together for the tournament.
Regarding Chozen, Yuji teases that he’s “trying to turn a drunken criminal back on his feet,” training children while wrestling with parts of his past.
“Cobra Kai” Season 6, Part 2 will be available on Netflix on November 15th.
