Love Is Blind Season 6’s Chelsea Blackwell is enjoying her pod journey and is engaged to Jimmy Presnell.
Mona Kosar Abdi of “Extra” interviewed Chelsea and also responded to the online uproar against her where people said she looked like Megan Fox.
Chelsea said: “You know when you remember a comment you made and then you don’t think about it as much after that, this was exactly that situation and my whole world was turned upside down.”
Despite the mixed reactions, Chelsea said: People either agree or they don’t. I didn’t expect it to be this crazy…it’s wild because all I said was just a slightly stupid comment and I forgot about it. ”
Ms Blackwell vowed to “never again” say she looked like anyone.
Has Megan reached out to Chelsea? She answered: “No, I’m waiting. I hope you do.” I contacted her and apologized. ”
Chelsea also gave more background on some of her fights with Jimmy, including a moment when Jimmy called her “clingy.”
Things were “great” between Jimmy and Chelsea in the Dominican Republic, but they faced some challenges upon returning to the real world.
Chelsea explained: “We had a really great connection… We were very physical together and everything combined to be perfect. When I got to Charlotte, I got my phone back and things really took a different turn. Things started to change. I was trying to get over it and see past it.”
Chelsea pointed out that while Jimmy was saying everything she wanted to hear, “his actions were saying something completely different.”
She added, “I don’t know about you guys, but we only film in the afternoon, so I spend all day reading your body language. How you talk to me.” It was our second day together, so I’m going to show you in a short period of time what kind of woman and wife I can be for you…and that I’ve done these wonderful things for you. In response to… that reaction was that I was clingy and that’s why my reaction was so intense because I wasn’t expecting it.”
You’ll soon see the moment when Chelsea comes face-to-face with Trevor, another pod associate. So how did she feel leading up to it?
Chelsea replied: I was very anxious… There was a great connection within the pod. I loved him as a person. He’s so great…I made my choice and I was happy with it, but I was just going through a rough patch at the time. ”
Chelsea explained why she chose Jimmy over Trevor in the pod: Both were really great. They would fit into my life very well. There was something about Trevor that I couldn’t see through. ”
Fans still have to wait and see if Chelsea and Jimmy take to the altar, but to be able to confidently say, “Instead of just telling me what I wanted to hear, he’s going to show me.” She said she wanted to see it. “i will do it.”
