Madeline Cline and Madison Bailey sit down with Extra’s Terry Seymour to discuss Season 4 of Outer Banks, in which the Pogues search for Blackbeard’s treasure.
Madeline teased that we’ll see John B. and Sarah’s relationship grow. They lose their father at the end of season 3, and after a little time jump, we recover.
“I think now, with all the complications and conflicts we’ve had, we need a commitment to deal with this together,” Madeline said. we heal together. We don’t solve problems separately, we solve them together, and we trust each other. ”
She continued, “I think it means a lot of unity, trusting one of the other’s decisions, supporting each other, and maturing as partners.”
In response to all of Giara’s positions, Madison teased that JJ and Ciara are “growing up together” but are “going to have a little rough time” and pointed out that “JJ is still JJ!” is a prank in which Chiara adds, “It seems like there’s something kind about him.” ”
Kiara and JJ were supposed to be together at the end of the season, but creator Jonas Pate recently teased that a bombshell was coming. Does it have something to do with Chiara and JJ?
Madison paused and said, Your words, not mine. ”
“It sounds like he’s trying to get rid of you,” Madeline joined in.
Madison agreed. “Maybe because Chiara is a rider. I was like, ‘I don’t know what’s going on. What kind of bomb?’
Terry also spoke about Chase Stokes and how John B. and Sarah bonded over losing their father, saying: You know, they’ve both experienced such a devastating loss that now all they have left is each other and the family they’ve found. ”
According to Chase, this season is about “reflecting on what’s happened and looking toward the future and trying to leave some of the bad behavior and trauma behind.”
He added, “I think we often make the choice to accept what happened in the past and choose ourselves over our past mistakes and choices.I think in some ways this is the best version of John B. and Sarah.” It’s kind of a traumatic bond over the death of their fathers, but ultimately it was each other that they chose at the end of the season, and it kind of resets the clock and says, “What do we do?” It was like being there. Are we going to keep repeating bad habits and old patterns, or are we going to move forward and turn the page and start a new chapter?”
Rudy Pankow also gave his two cents about JJ and Chiara’s relationship, saying, “I think this season is a roller coaster for them…I think it’s a different thing to start off as friends and then develop into a relationship. Being friends… That’s a different thing,” he said. I think relationships come with responsibility, and he’s learning that, and I think that’s JJ finding out if he can be more responsible in a relationship. ”
