Both cards offer the exact same advantages when it comes to purchasing and travel protection. With both cards you will receive:
- Purchase Protection: Covers up to $10,000 per bill ($50,000 per account) if eligible items are damaged or stolen within the first 120 days of purchase.
- Travel Cancellation/Discontinued Insurance: If you need to cancel or cut a trip due to a subject matter (such as illness or bad weather), you will receive up to $5,000 per person coverage for unexpected, unreserved travel expenses. Compensation is limited to $10,000 per trip.
- Main car rental compensation:If you use any card for the entire rental cost and travel for business purposes, you are compensated for theft and damage in the US and most countries around the world. Please note that this does not provide liability compensation. However, most rental cars with MSRPs below $125,000 cover up to $60,000.
