Celine Dion admitted she was “very, very nervous” when presenting Taylor Swift with a Grammy Award in February.
in people In an exclusive interview with the publication, Dion, who recently spoke about her struggles with bigot syndrome, said presenting Taylor with her fourth Album of the Year award was a huge honor, but also nerve-wracking.
“It was the first time [back at the Grammys]”And I didn’t want to wobble. I was going to be really nervous and really happy at the same time.”
She was hiding a deeper fear than simple stage jitters: with her condition, overstimulation could bring about a “crisis stage” of the disease.
“Applause,” she says. “I [the audience]I didn’t want anything bad to happen.”
Instead, the applause nourished her soul, and Dion said, “When I felt that love, [this is what] What I miss and what I want.”
