After selling over 66 million albums, including hits like “Last Name,” breakup song “Before He Cheat,” and powerful anthems like “Blown Away,” Carrie Underwood I plan to return to Las Vegas for my Reflection residency.
The eight-time Grammy Award-winner returns to Resorts World Theater with a critically acclaimed production, backstage only by “Extra” Alecia Davis.
“There’s such a great energy,” Carey said of the allure of performing in Las Vegas. “It feels like crowds are coming from everywhere. It’s like everyone’s already in a good mood and ready to have some fun. And hopefully we can add to that.”
Carey’s first Reflection Residency in 2021 was a huge success. When she asked what was so special about the show, she said Carrie was a location.
“Being in a gorgeous theater like this, being here makes me feel like I can do things that I can’t do when I’m on tour.
Carey continued, “We have bigger set pieces. It’s a lot of fun to go back to the room after doing the show.”
Fitness has always been important to the country star. Carey says touring allows him to actually prioritize training.
“I feel a little more focused when I’m out and about when I’m here because my kids aren’t here right now. I don’t have a house to clean. So I can focus more on my work and a little more on myself,” Carey explained.
She added, “They will be visiting soon, so it’s all out the window!”
The “Jesus Takes the Wheel” singer has already performed with Axl Rose at last year’s stagecoach festival and will soon be on tour with Guns N’ Roses.
“It’s definitely the kind of dream I never could have dreamed because it’s so huge,” Carey told Extra.
First of all, Carey is ready to get back to her dream run at Sin City when her Vegas residency begins June 21st.
“It’s a fun show. I know I have to say that, but we’re having a lot of fun and looking at the audience, they seem to be pumped every night.”
