Petaling Jaya: Carlsberg Malaysia won five awards at the 13th Annual Putra Brand Awards held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya on 13th January.
Connor’s Stout Porter and Japan’s No. 1 Premium Beer Asahi Super Dry won Bronze Awards in the Beverage and Alcohol category.
Carlsberg said the award is a testament to its commitment to providing quality beers and attractive brands to Malaysian beer, cider and stout consumers.
Voted by over 6,000 Malaysian consumers, this brewer outperformed other alcoholic beverages.
It was Carlsberg’s 13th consecutive platinum award.
Stefano Crini, Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia, thanked its flagship brand for the second consecutive year as it continues to top the award list, outperforming other alcoholic beverages.
“We are committed to continuing our pursuit of quality and innovation as we strive to brew for a better today and tomorrow. Here at Carlsberg Malaysia, we are determined to celebrate every moment. We are fully committed and want to bring all consumers closer to their loved ones in a moment of unity to celebrate the festive season together,” he said in a statement.

It is also a testament to Malaysian beer consumers’ increasing popularity of not only Carlsberg, but also established premium beers such as 1664 Bran, Summersby, Connor’s Stout Porter and Asahi Super Dry.
“This will allow us to create an even better beer, cider and stout enjoyment experience for beer lovers in Malaysia that remains relevant, forward-thinking, innovative and engaging with our consumers. I will keep trying to do my best.”
The event was launched in 2010 by the Malaysian Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies in collaboration with Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands.
