Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are now parents to two children!
On Friday, the couple announced the birth of their second child, a son.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden ❤️🙏 He is an amazing person and we are all so happy to have him here,” the two wrote on a joint Instagram. It is!” he wrote. For the safety and privacy of the children, we are not posting photos of them, but they are truly adorable ☺️ We are so blessed and grateful 🍀 Sending you so much love from our family 🙏❤️ Best wishes and hello!! 🤘⚡️”
Attached to the announcement was a picture with the inscription, “A little bird whispered to me.”

Cameron and Benji are also parents to four-year-old daughter Raddix.
The baby’s announcement came as a big surprise as the couple had not made their pregnancy public.
Cameron recently opened up about how becoming a mother has changed her life.
She said this on the Goop podcast. I’m excited. I have 50 or 60 years left of her. She wants to live to be 110 years old because she has a small child. When you reach your 40s, I think there will be a wonderful moment when you realize how grateful you are to your parents. I want to spend that moment with her. She wants to be with her girlfriend in her 40s. ”
Last year, Diaz spoke passionately about Madden as a father during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
She said, “He’s like Benji at home, the best dad ever, running all the businesses. Then he stands there and is like, ‘Yeah, I get it, Pyro!’ Hehe. ”
