SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Caltrans is warning the public that the second lane of northbound Highway 101 near Olive Mill Road will remain closed through Thursday to repair pavement in drier conditions.
Wednesday’s heavy rains prevented the asphalt from sticking to the road.
Northbound 2nd lane #US101 The Olive Mill Road grade crossing will remain closed until the current storm has passed. Heavy rain makes it impossible to lay the asphalt firmly. Further attempts will be made this evening after the storm has passed.@CaltransHQ pic.twitter.com/Ug37W2jROU
