Rebel, one of the top cornerbacks of the 2025 NFL Draft, held a formal meeting with the Bucs in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine in March. Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles likes the long, long cornerback on the outside, at 6 feet 2, 194 pounds, and the level certainly lives up to expectations for size.
His level-level senior season with the Pirates had a great start before the ACL torn apart in the third game of the year ended his college career early. He’s headed straight from that injury but couldn’t resolve this offseason, including the combine. Levels are expected to be ready to participate in training camp during their rookie season. This is good news for the team drafting him.
Although Level is expected to be his second pick due to injury, he has first round talent. It’s possible he could sneak into the end of the first round.
Shavon Revel Jr. could become the starting cornerback for the Bucs

Bucks head coach Todd Bowles said he is looking for the Ballhawks in the secondary this offseason. Shavon Revel Jr. had three intercepts in three seasons in East Carolina, but two intercepts in the first three games of the 2024 season.
The level had long arms, almost 33 inches long, which helped him record the split of 15 career paths. He’s a fast, physical cornerback with sub-4.5 speeds that perfectly fits Tampa Bay’s defense, and has a pair of cornerbacks in that starting caliber. Zyon McCollum (6-2, 199) and Jamel Dean (6-1, 206). The Bucs are looking to replace Dean, who has been disappointed over the past two years and has missed the game due to injuries and has produced one interception. Level has the ability to intervene as a newcomer and compete for the first job.
The Bucs are scheduled to have 30 30 visits at cornerback so far this offseason. Kansas’ Jacob Parish and Oregon’s Niccolide are the other two now, but both are 5 feet 10, so they are both predicted as nickel backs. The Bowles prefer longer cornerbacks on the outside. There, as you move from East Carolina Pirates to Tampa Bay Buccaneer, the long-legged level level plays.
