Bucs’ top 30 visits continue to unfold, stitching together plans for the 2025 NFL Draft. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Bucs recently hosted Tennessee defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott for a top 30 visit.
Norman Lott has been a busy guy lately. He has already visited Tampa Bay with Bengal, Browns, Falcon and Bears. There will also be visits to the bill, Titan, Chiefs and 49ers.
This is the second defensive tackle Tampa Bay hosted on his top 30 visit, first being Schema Turner from Texas A&M. When the Norman Lott from Tennessee came, the Bucs only spoke to SEC players from that position. Norman Lott did not meet with Bucs from the Combine.
Omarr Norman-Lott is a solid backup for Bucs
After playing three seasons for Arizona, Norman Lott transferred to Tennessee, where he played for the next two years. His best season recorded 5.5 sacks in 2023, as a defensive tackle to lose 26 tackles and six tackles in 10 games.

It wasn’t the bad encore season of 2024, as he played career-high 13 games in which he lost four sacks, 18 tackles and four tackles in last year’s college football season. During his appearance in the 2025 NFL, he pairs the 6’2 291 pound Norman lot, with arm lengths of 33 and 3/4 inches and 10 and 3/4 inches of arm lengths. He did not perform a 40, cone drill or bench press, but he had a vertical jump of 31.50 and a wide jump of 9’5.
Norman Lott played a major role as a three-technique in defensive tackle. He has incredible athletic ability and is fantastic in his overall hand placement and fighting with offensive linemen. Norman Lott usually relies on his athletic ability to shoot gaps and beat blockers to win matchups before joining the play. He impressed Ton in the Senior Bowl due to his relentless effort and solid techniques that won a matchup against his opponent. Norman Lott was considered some of the best performances of the event.

A small defensive tackle, he may have issues with overall leverage due to his short arm length and size. He can miss a tackle and make the wrong reads on running plays, so it would be faster to use him as a pass-rush defensive tackle than a run stopper. He is considered his third choice.
There were some similarities with Bucs’ defensive tackle Calijah Kancyy, each of which grew but had excellent athletic ability. That’s not a top priority To draft, The Bucs don’t mind another defensive tackle on the roster that’s been on contract for several seasons.
He is a direct backup to Kansy and can bring similar characteristics. The current defensive tackle Logan Hall is in the final year of his contract, but Greg Gaines is a backup for Vita Vea and has signed a one-year contract.
The Bucs could aim to strengthen the team’s depth and draft his final alternative if Hall and Gaines leave to free agency next year.
The depth in the position of defensive tackle is immeasurable this season. 27 defensive tackles receive draftable grades from the NFL. Defensive tackles will not be an immediate need for Tampa Bay, where the starter is signed for the next two years, but they will need to improve the quality of team depth at positions.
