As Brian and Ingrid go out to eat for their last meal together, Brian confronts his girlfriend over a hunch that she’s not real.
He says it feels like there’s no stimulation, saying, “That kiss is like kissing your grandma.”
She asks, “Really?” He added, “It felt good.”
Brian explains in his confessional: Deep down I want to believe what she’s telling me, but what she’s showing me with her actions…they just don’t add up. ”
Brian said he plans to “do whatever it takes” to spend the rest of their lives together, but “something in my gut tells me she’s not here for the right reasons.”
As they ate together, he said to her: And I don’t feel that towards you. ”
He went on to say, “I really feel like you’re not being honest with me,” adding, “I feel like you’re using me to get to the United States with the kids.”
