Boston Portuguese Festival returns to City Hall Plaza June 18, entertainment lineup announced

who will be performing?

The festival will include performances by internationally recognized artist Jorge Ferreira, X Factor Portugal winner Berg and Portuguese world music duo Senza.

Local Portuguese-American rock band Eratoxica and Portuguese duo Tiago & Carlos from Graciosa, Azores will also perform.

The program will also feature Julian Lima of Boston 25 and Taylor Amarante, a Portuguese-American comedian from San Jose, California.

Portuguese cuisine is one of the highlights of the festival.

The event features a range of local restaurants, and festival-goers can enjoy traditional bifana, delicious pastel de nata, and many other Portuguese specialties in tasquinhas (food tents).

BPF’s Food Pavilion will feature Portuguese cuisine by Avó’s Feast (Fall River, Massachusetts). Two Sisters Catering (Dartmouth, MA); Dean’s Concessions (Charlestown, MA); Joey Bats Sweets (New York, NY).

The festival will also feature drinks from SUMOL, one of Portugal’s premium brands, as well as a beer and wine garden in collaboration with Stella Artois & MS Walker.
