Blake Lively is hitting back after Justin Baldoni released live footage from the set of It Ends With Us.
His team released a 10-minute unedited video of Lively filming the film’s romantic slow dance scene to refute sexual harassment claims.
Ms Blake’s court responded by saying it was a “stunt” to prove her case.
The statement said: “Justin Baldoni and his lawyers may be hoping this latest stunt will preempt evidence against him, but the video itself is damning. All of the footage released The frame literally confirms what Ms. Lively stated in paragraph 48 of her complaint.”
The researchers continued, “The video shows Mr. Baldoni repeatedly leaning towards Ms. Lively, attempting to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing his face and mouth against her neck, and touching her lips with his thumb.” He can be seen playing it, caressing it and telling her how to do it.” She smells good, and not only was the conversation with her improvised by Mr. Baldoni without any prior discussion or agreement, but Mr. Baldoni was not present. He is Lively’s co-star, but he is also the director, head of the studio, and Lively’s boss.
“The video shows Ms. Lively leaning over and repeatedly asking the characters to just talk. Any woman who has been touched inappropriately at work would like to know that Ms. Lively You will notice the discomfort. The woman will notice her frivolous attempts to deflect the unwanted touching.” No woman should take steps to protect herself from being touched without her employer’s consent. there is no. ”
The statement continued: “This matter is pending in federal court. Releasing this video to the media rather than submitting it as evidence in court is yet another unethical attempt to manipulate the public.” This is also their continuation.” While they focus on misleading media reports, we continue to work to hold Mr. Baldoni and his associates accountable in court rather than in the fabricated version. It’s a media stunt. ”

Baldoni’s lawyers said in a statement at the beginning of the video: Lively’s suit alleges that Baldoni acted inappropriately during a scene in which she and Lively were filming a slow dance montage. The video below, taken on May 23, 2023, clearly refutes this characterization of Mr. Lively’s actions. The scene in question was designed to show the two characters falling in love and yearning to be close to each other. It is clear that both actors behave appropriately within the confines of the scene, with mutual respect and professionalism. These are all three takes of the sequence. ”
Last month, Lively’s lawsuit referenced a slow-dance scene, alleging that “Mr. Baldoni and Ms. Lively were filming a slow dance scene for a montage with no audio recorded. Mr. Baldoni decided to have the camera roll and act out the scene, but he did not play the role of Lyle. Instead, he spoke to Ms. Lively, contrary to his own character. At one point, he leans forward and slowly drags his lips from her ear to her neck, saying, “You smell so good.” None of this was based on the character’s personality or scripted dialogue. And since there was no audio, I didn’t have to say anything. Baldoni orally caressed Mrs. Lively in a way that had nothing to do with the character. ”

Baldoni has publicly expressed concerns about this. and discussed the topic of body dysmorphia on an episode of his podcast, “Man Enough.” Lively’s comments about Baldoni’s nose were also caught on camera. “The Wayfarers have issued media statements, filed baseless lawsuits, and threatened to sue in order to overwhelm the public’s understanding that what they are doing is retaliation for sexual harassment allegations. , chose to tap into the resources of its billionaire co-founder.
“They are attempting to shift the narrative to Ms. Lively by falsely claiming that Ms. Lively took creative control and pulled the cast away from Mr. Baldoni,” the statement continued. The evidence will show that the cast and others had negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer. Evidence will also show that Sony asked Ms. Lively to direct the Sony cut of the film, which was selected for distribution and was a huge success.
“Their response to the sexual harassment allegations was that she wanted it, it was her fault. Their justification for why this happened to her was because they saw what she was wearing. So the victim focuses on the abuse, the abuser focuses on the victim. The strategy of attacking women is hopeless and contradicts the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint. Instead, you will fail.”
