On Tuesday, Blake Lively hit the red carpet at the New York premiere of her film “It Ends With Us” wearing a 2002 Versace butterfly dress made by Britney Spears, and was cheered on by her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her “Deadpool & Wolverine” co-star, Hugh Jackman, to liven up the big event.
“Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi spoke with Blake, who explained her special look.
She said, “This dress means so much to me… because of what she meant to me. She was the embodiment of love and beauty and youth and hard work and determination and strength. She was in touch with her sexuality and sensitivity and she just embodied all of that.”

Referring to Britney’s memoir, “The Woman in Me,” Blake added, “The way she tells her story, the way she has done it, and the way she’s now going to tell it in the biopic, it’s just, I don’t know. Britney was such a big deal. I’ll always be a Britney fan.”
“When I got this dress I was like, ‘Yes, I need this.’ I’ve had it for almost a year now and I’ve had it for six months.”
In addition to promoting the film, Blake has also been promoting her new hair care line. “This week has been busy. I’ve barely slept,” she admitted.
“I’m so grateful,” Blake said as he gushed about the amazing summer his family has had between working on It Ends With Us, Deadpool & Wolverine and the launch of his own hair care brand, Blake Brown.
“It Ends with Us” will be released on August 9th.
