Billy Ray Cyrus Posts Sweet Tribute to Miley Amid Alleged Family Drama

Billy Ray Cyrus is taking the time to praise his daughter Miley Cyrus amid reports of drama between their family.

62 year old Posts He posted a photo of the father and daughter together when Miley was a toddler on Instagram, writing, “One of the best memories of my life.” @cma When it was a fest, a fun fair. @Miley Cyrus And there I was, surrounded by thousands of amazing fans.”

The singer captioned the post with Miley’s song “Flowers,” writing, “Someone gave me this photo the next day and I wrote this poem right there on the bus. I am so proud of her. She is a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate her fans who make it all possible. We cherish our connection with our fans and are grateful to each and every one of you!”

Despite starring together on Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011, Billy Ray and Miley appear to be estranged.

She didn’t mention the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer by name during her 2024 Grammy Awards speech, even concluding by saying, “I don’t think I forgot anyone, but I might have forgotten my underwear. See you!”

Miley, 31, didn’t mention Billy Ray in a subsequent post either, instead thanking others, including her mother and fans.

As her father noted in a recent post, she is grateful for her supporters.

After receiving her Grammy, she wrote, “More than anything, I want to thank my fans. No award means more to me than the years we’ve spent together. You were watching me before this award was even given to me. I take every moment of every day to be thankful that heaven blessed me with angels who support me. I love you all with all my heart and may we continue to be together forever.”

The family has undergone many changes in recent years.
